We need adoptive families for children of all ages and backgrounds.
We currently have a broad range of children awaiting adoption. They range in age from babies through to older children. They include single children and many sibling groups who need to be adopted together. We need people who have the physical, emotional and practical resources to be able to adopt. We would particularly welcome adopters who are able to consider sibling groups, older single children and children with additional needs.
All children who are in need of adoption will have experienced early separation from people to whom they are attached. Many children will have experienced physical or emotional abuse or neglect. Some children may have experienced sexual abuse. These experiences are likely to impact on a child’s physical and emotional development. Adoptive families have the task of rebuilding trust in children’s lives and helping them grow, develop and to reach their potential.
